    1. I didn’t even know they could do that. Like… they can pass a bill before they even have it, that’s wild lmao

This says a lot about how out of step Johnson and Thune are, because Johnson was clearly counting on Thune to hold this thing up for a while, and instead Thune sent it straight through.

Veto-proof as well. This is insane.

It took months, but the pedophiles scrubbed and redacted the files.

It won’t matter. The cult of dimwits still worship their child rapist leader. They ignored all the pictures, the contacts, the women’s testimony, none of it mattered before.

    3. You guys are so gullible.

He used the past few months of stone walling and complaining to buy time. Time the DOJ used to have FBI agents work overtime to scrub the files.

To nobody’s surprise, it’s going to just show left leaning figures. Trump won’t be in there or his friends.

Lmao it doesn’t fucking matter. It’s been scrubbed and all the names of republicans that would be outted are no longer in there especially our molester in Chief.

So is Epstein a bad guy or is it a democrat hoax or is it worth releasing the files? Make up your minds up, lol.

We all know that Trump and friends scrubbed names and *now* they’re fine to release.

Ain’t no fucking way it’s legit. He’s had the fbi scrubbing it and blacking out everything that incriminates him and his donors. I will be blown away if not.

    7. I can’t wait to see how the files explain that ██████ was at ████████ when █████ forced ██████ to ████████. Oh, and Bill Clinton was there.

    8. Okay so does that also mean it’s a veto-proof majority if Trump decides to suddenly veto it or would he be protected because “It wasn’t a vote, just a verbal acceptance”?

Also, what tricks does Trump have up his sleeve here? There’s no way these files are the full and unredacted (except for the CSAM and victim names redactions that were in the bill thanks to Dems) files.

    9. This was TOO easy. When they inevitably release redacted and compromised files, shit is absolutely going to hit the fan in this country. Trust will NEVER return and his base will never relent. I’ll be shocked if they release anything as is.

    10. The entire shutdown was manufactured so that Dump and his minions could scrub the files of any of his wrong- doing. How is this not obvious at this point?

    11. This whole exercise to force Trump to release Epstein files is a hoax. Thre was always ZERO chance that Trump or his team of professional liars would actually release even a single document that in any way incriminate Trump. This was just grandstanding by Massie and nothing more. Trump is 100% guilty so he has EVERYTHING to gain by hiding the documents from the public. The farce will continue. And now that this issue has everybody’s attention, Trump’s team will selectively release info a out non-Republicans or any ody that Trump doesn’t like. Trump probably has personal agents calling all the rich folks to request donations in exchange for not revealing their documents as well. Welcome to Trumpistan.

I want to believe that after this scrubbed version is released, someone will leak the real deal. And then the fireworks will begin.

    13. No wow. They’ve had months to clean them up . Why weren’t they released months back before the shutdown?

    14. Cautious_Maximum_870 on

Listen I don’t believe this same congress that decided to be at a stand still on the big horrible bill surprisingly *unanimously* voted to release the files….just enough time to go through the tens of thousands pages that have redacted information….I don’t buy it.

    15. Now, along with the files, I want the file audit logs to show that these aren’t tampered with. And if those are mysteriously unavailable in a government environment, it just shows that there is fuckery at hand. According to NIST SP 1800-25, this would be considered a destructive act and there should be file integrity logging for every one of the files in this case. The government forces businesses to comply, and it is very costly to do, and if we find that the logs are mysteriously unavailable due to an excuse like data migration, it will be 100% bullshit. Even during a migration, the logs are expensive to retain, but must be retained, just like they force every government contractor to do.

    16. $100 says it comes out and names ONLY democrats with any other name redacted. Or it’ll be like 10 pages and they’ll pretend like it was a nothingburger.
